Techniques maîtrisées :
Proficient working in laboratory animal centres (vivarium). I am licensed to work and perform surgeries on rodents in Finland, France, and Ireland. I have experience with animal handling, head-fixed behavioural tests and calcium imaging. I also have experience on surgeries, stereotaxic injections, perfusion, and dissection. Proficient working in a lab environment, under aseptic conditions, and in a biosafety cabinet. I have ample experience with human cell culture (including primary neurones) as well as cell transfection, microbial culturing, neurophysiology, cryosectioning, and immunohistochemistry. I also have experience with several microscopy techniques such as LSM, confocal and wide-field imaging. I have working knowledge with molecular cloning protocols, creation of stable recombinant cell lines, western bots, northern blots, DNA extraction, RNA smFISH, and immunochemistry as well as flow cytometry, and chromatography.
Compétences :
I am competent in programming, with working knowledge of Python and its libraries Numpy, Scipy, and Matplotlyb; as well as basic knowledge of MATLAB and R, which I have used for my work in Computational Neuroscience and data analysis. I have excellent writing and language skills as demonstrated by my roles as editor and writer at TSB. Furthermore, I am proficient in Microsoft Office and have working knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition and Premiere.
