Transport: a bus between Montpellier (St Roch station) and the residence will be organised. Doctoral students travel costs to Montpellier will be refunded (on the basis of a round-trip train journey).

What are Cross-Border doctorials ?
Cross Borders Doctorials are an immersive three-day workshop where international PhD candidates from all disciplines will work in multidisciplinary teams to structure a research project based on European program call Horizon 2030 (between Horizon 2030-cluster, EIC-pathfinder and EIC-transition,), focused on key societal challenges.
The goal?
To create build an applied research project, identify the that creates real value - potentially leading to a startup projection!
Structure a collaborative research project in international context, identify the potential innovation, define strategy to grow up idea TRL 1-2 to its validation in significant environment TRL 5, propose a strategy of valorization until the market.
This residentiel seminar (06 to 08 October 2025) is organised by the Collège Doctoral LR, in partnership with the Collège de l'Université de Montpellier and the Ecole des Docteurs de Toulouse.
Throughout the event, you’ll be accommodated, catered for, and fully focused on your project.
You will be supported by experienced professionals - researchers, European project coordinators, Expert for European project evaluation, intellectual property experts.
They will provide you with practical tools from building a collaborative project and understanding intellectual property strategies, to highlighting the contributions of each discipline, and mastering the art of presenting ideas clearly and convincingly.
