Objectifs :
With a PhD, you will likely have a position which requires management skills.
This training will give you tools to help you understand better your management style and how to manage team members depending on their level of autonomy.

Programme :
1. Identifying your management style
• Self-assessment of your management style
• Situational management (levels of autonomy in a team)

2. The manager and the team
• Your integration as a manager within a team
• Relational tools: the importance of communication
o Bias and spontaneous attitudes
o Ways of improving inter-personal communication

3. Specific tools
• About work organization: How to delegate successfully
• Recruiting and integrating a new collaborator within the team

Méthode pédagogique :
The methods used during the training are agile, namely
1) we focus on individuals (here the trainees) and their interactions rather than on only processes and tools
2) we focus on the operational aspect of the training, by systematically linking to practices and using case studies rather than exhaustive documentation
3) we adopt a collaborative attitude, with the trainees as well as the college doctoral
4) we adapt the content of the training according to the needs and expectations (rather than following an exact unflexible plan)

Bloc 6 : Encadrement d’équipes dédiées à des activités de recherche et développement, d’études et prospective

- Animer et coordonner une équipe dans le cadre de taches complexes ou interdisciplinaires

- Identifier les ressources clés pour une équipe et préparer les évolutions en termes de formation et de développement personnel

- Evaluer le travail des personnes et de l’équipe vis à vis des projets et objectifs
