Objectifs :
You have to write a scientific paper. But you don't know where to start. How to organize your knowledge.
This writing workshop aims to help you find patterns and meaningful ways to organize the writing process of your paper.
The workshop is project-based: you will write on your own publication project.
Concrete exercises support structuring of ideas and formulating the main questions. Revision techniques help to create coherence, clarity and precision.
The workshop is entirely action-oriented. You don't just learn what to do - you do it.

SCHEDULE
- Individual work each day: 9am-11.30am
- Live from 2pm to 4pm on the dates indicated in the calendar - attendance compulsory!
- Live meeting for individual interviews from 4pm to 5pm on the same dates - optional: the meeting is public for group members - you can listen to the interview if you wish.

Méthode pédagogique :
You work on your own paper project: this course is 100% practical. You write under instructions, building your text step by step.
You don't only learn what to do - you do it.

The course alternates several ways of working:
1) individual work on your own. A video guides you step by step in exercises to do. You work whenever you want. The exercises must be completed by the scheduled time in order to continue with the group.
2) group work with the trainer - Questions and Answers and Feedback on your texts, written in (1)
3) individual coaching (optional): you can submit a problem or a problematic passage of your text to the trainer and get help to solve the problem.

Compétences acquises à l'issue de la formation :
• Apply current standards to structure a scientific article by understanding their logic.
• Create a clear thesis statement to organize your text around a central idea by focusing on the essentials.
• Highlight the relevance of your research in order to catch your readers’ interest by exploiting the strategic parts of your article.
• Apply organizational techniques in order to have a fluent writing process by structuring the tasks beforehand.
• Be aware of the function of each writing step to be able to write good texts while keeping a good overview on the writing process.
• Curb efficiently procrastination in order to exploit the time available by working with time-boxing.
